Leann Canty, Owner, Corporate President
Leann received the Enrolled Agent certification from the IRS in 1987. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1992. In 1993, she established her company as a tax and accounting firm. Ever vigilant to improve service to her loyal customers and grow her business, she sought certifications and affiliations in order to be able to work with clients as their financial advisor. She joined HD Vest in 2009 and attained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, certification in 2015. Leann uses her extensive tax law background to help maximize her clients’ wealth accumulation. This expertise gives her a distinct advantage as a comprehensive financial planner.
In 1998, Leann moved her business to its current home in beautiful Arvada, Colorado. As an Iowa native, Leann says Arvada reminds her of home. Her commute to work is two minutes in heavy traffic. That’s how much she loves her Colorado hometown.
As a devout Christian, Leann sought and earned the designation of Certified Kingdom Advisor in 2017.
In addition to successfully advising clients, Leann is passionate about her faith, her German shepherd dogs, and camping!
